The Tables at Card Corner Billabong

Our poker tables are built for serious face-to-face play in a relaxed coastal setting.

  • Custom-built tables designed for comfort and durability.
  • Located in the dedicated poker room with natural light and coastal views.
  • Available for poker nights and casual play.

Table Design and Materials

Built for Comfort

Our tables feature padded rails and a smooth felt surface for hours of comfortable play. High-density foam rails reduce fatigue, while the premium felt in ocean blue carries a subtle wave pattern. Solid timber bases with eucalyptus accents keep each table stable and grounded, even during long sessions.

Designed for Play

The table layout is optimized for clear sightlines and easy card handling. A standard 9-seat oval layout gives every player room to move, with recessed cup holders and chip trays built into the rail. A non-glare surface treatment keeps the felt readable under both natural and pendant light.

Coastal Touches

Each table incorporates subtle Australian coastal design elements. Timber edges are inspired by local driftwood, and an inlaid wave motif runs through the felt. Natural light from nearby windows completes the bright, airy feel of the room.

Seating and Capacity

Table Seating

Each poker table comfortably seats up to nine players. The standard oval table dimensions are 2.4m x 1.2m, with spacious seating that provides about 60cm per player. Adjustable chairs with lumbar support keep everyone comfortable through long hands.

Room Capacity

The poker room can accommodate multiple tables for larger poker nights. Up to four tables can be arranged in the main room, giving a total capacity of 36 players. Additional standing room is available for spectators who want to watch the action.

Table Atmosphere

Focused Yet Friendly

The poker room balances serious play with a relaxed coastal vibe. Low background music keeps the mood calm, while natural light during day sessions makes the space feel open and welcoming. Friendly staff and regular players create an easygoing atmosphere for newcomers and experienced players alike.

Coastal Views

Large windows offer glimpses of Sydney while you play. The windows are positioned to avoid glare on the tables, so the view never interferes with the cards. An ocean breeze moves through open vents, and indoor plants add a natural touch to the room.

Evening Ambience

As the sun sets, warm lighting creates an intimate card lounge feel. Dimmable pendant lights hang over each table, casting soft shadows and warm highlights. Quiet corners around the room invite conversation between hands, making the space comfortable for social play.

Poker Nights on the Tables

Scheduled Poker Nights

Our poker tables come alive during regular poker nights. Weekly poker nights run every Friday and Saturday, with friendly tournaments and casual games. All skill levels are welcome, and the focus is always on face-to-face play and good company.

Casual Play

Outside of scheduled nights, tables are available for casual face-to-face poker. You can reserve a table for your group, or walk in based on availability. It is an ideal setup for practice, social games, or simply enjoying the room at your own pace.
